COMMUNIVERSITY

The desire to live in community is no longer a dream of those who love hangin' out with their friends, it has become a necessary way of being. We all, in some way or other will contribute, in order to steer this earthship and humanity in the right direction.

In pondering the whole community living concept and just what that actually entails and how that might look in real life, ask yourself if you were stranded on an island, who would you want to be stranded with?, what skills do we all have to offer? what level of awareness and integrity have we reached? Can we have fun together?

The "Community", which is really many, is growing and people are becoming more aware of the necessity of learning these social, physical, and spiritual skills, and yet the task of acquiring this knowledge can be a daunting journey indeed. Where does one start? We, as the Oracle Gatherings, do a pretty good job at offering the fun part, bringing really amazing conscious people together from up and down the West Coast for transformative experiences but then what? People go their own way and continue to "talk" about the building of community.

Communiversity is an opportunity, and has every potential to move us beyond the talking and move us into action. To move beyond the "community for the weekend" and into the nitty gritty of real community building, and skill acquisition. An opportunity to bring cohesion in this fast paced, pulled in every direction, fractured society. A way for us to grow together and learn from each other and take this whole creation to another level, to really make a difference.

Everyone is welcome, please feel free to give ideas and topics for future Communiversity events. These will be ongoing offerings to the community as well as preparations for the Gatherings. less
