i was discussing a practice held in Wicca as well as at Damanhur of having temporary marriages set for say a year that are witnessed. These serve as a means to test the relationship and determine compatibility over a longer period while giving it an increased commitment level. Wondering if anyone has witnessed or experienced such a thing either in relation to Damanhur or elsewhere.
