Re: Damanhur rocks
Wed, October 29, 2003 - 1:50 AMWord.
i only know people who have been there, one who led tours and taught me Remote Viewing.
Apparently you have to have lived in the Federation for something like 3 years before you gain any access to that tech.
i also love that they have their own currency, a successful clothing line and a device that allows you to sleep less but be energized and alert.
i also hear the founding member is the busiest man in the Federation there and manages to read a book a day. Now that's time travel.

Re: Damanhur rocks
Mon, November 3, 2003 - 4:57 PMI have. I stayed there for two months about a year and a half ago. I could go on my ramble now, but all I will say at this point is that all the people I met there were very authentic and down to earth. I sat at the dinnertable with one of the main timetravellers for all this time and I must say that I believe the experiences she describes. A lot(!) is going on there. -

Re: Damanhur rocks
Thu, November 13, 2003 - 4:28 PMI had read about Damanhur in some magazine back when I still lived in Berlin. Then on one of the most intense days of my life, I went to see a "concert of the plants" where some Damanhurians hooked up electrodes to the trees and played Cello and Flute with them. At that time I had not much more that a smile for them, but as I looked closer I got more impressed. Then I found their website, which has a lot of stuff, then I went to one of the lectures held by Esperide who comes to the Bay Area about twice a year. Open Secret in San Rafael is her homebase when she's here. Well, then I wrote to them about the work exchange and then I went. As easy as that. -

Re: Damanhur rocks
Sat, January 31, 2004 - 1:05 PMyeah i've been to Damanhur
the art is amazing!!!
everything form scuplture, outdoor gardens, jewelry, hand woven and hand made clothing and more
the temple of mankind is like nothing you have ever seen or will ever see except at Damanhur - it's in the guinesss book of world records too!
the feeling is truly exceptional! they are also contacting "aliens" or other life forwms, working on cures for cancer and other diesaes and who knows what.
full laboratory and the biggest magnets i've ever seen?? like weird science or something.
i definetely felt high when i was in the underground temple something IS going on.
got to see falco and hear 2 of his lectures w/ live translation in english)
they (damanhurians) are all very open about information and speak to people freely about stuff
BUT, it STILL REEKS of a cult!
freedom of personal thought and expression is NOT highly regarded - what do you think????
oi mi sono divertita!
ciao bello,
camilla -

Re: Damanhur rocks
Sun, February 1, 2004 - 11:11 PMthe "cult" question definitely lingers in the air, although i did not get the feeling when i was there. in fact i found most of the people there to be pretty determined individuals with strong personal (often conflicting) opinions which they weren't holding back either.
my verdict is: "not culty!"
